It's almost that time of year again. I would love to see you guys there, but I know that's not too likely. Hopefully this will appeal to some of the new guys who have joined from around the Great Lakes.

Gads,I haven't done one of those in years. Are they still with "bring your own pipe" and Paul's special blend for these contests?

Yup. Bring your own pipe. For the contest you are supplied with 3.3 grams of contest blend, two matches, and 60 seconds to light your pipe. Still the same blend; cube cut burley. Hope to see you there.

I really want to start attending these things to meet with other pipe smokers.

Will be switching to 3rd shift that night in Saginaw, but I will sure try.
